Here Today.....Gone In 20

Aaron has arrived safe and sound back to the grand and great USA. After a 24 hour day of flying and layover time he landed at Dulles Interbational Airport on the 13th of June.
Check out this great banner that Elizabeth Amorino let us use. She put Aaron's name on there for us and Jake and I practiced our "Vanna White" moves to show it off for the camera.

Here Aaron is coming out of the International Flights area. He traveled with another Elder leaving Thailand at the same time. Here is a cool story about this Elder. We were hanging out at the airport waiting, waiting, waiting and Tori needed to run wild so Spencer was shadowing here around the area that we were waiting at when this lovely young lady came up to us and asked if we were waiting for a missionary.
"Why yes we are!"
"From Thailand?" she asked.
"Why yes!"
"So are we!"
She called her family over and we introduce ourselves and chatted a bit about the returning missionaries when we hear a happy comotion over to our left. We look over and we see Jake hugging a member of this family and they are both laughing and having a great reunion.
"What? Who? When? Where?"
This guy was a brother to the returning missionary and is married to the sister of a young lady from Ohio that Jake met at EFY and had one of those crazy long distance dating relationships with.  Jake and his friend Donnie had gone out to Ohio back in October during General Conference and met all of Myrah's family, hence the reunion with the brother-in-law.
Crazy small world isn't it!
Happy to be back!

Check out Aaron's airconditioned Rockports. He wore these shoes everday of his mission. He said they were great when riding his bike towards the end. He would get a nice breeze going through his shoes to cool off his feet!

The bottom of both shoes have large holes in them. We have encouraged him to go out and get a new pair which he is finding hard to do!  He has grown quite attached to these shoes!

Here we all are with our cheesy happy grins!

WELCOME HOME AARON!!

Now he has 20 more days with us before he enters the hallowed halls of the Air Force Academy once again!
